“This bill completely violates the Minsk agreements. It further separates Ukraine from the Donbass republics and threatens the entire negotiation process within the framework of a peace settlement.
That is, it must be regarded as a provocation on the part of official Kyiv, as another attempt to withdraw from the Minsk agreements. It is simply impossible and inappropriate to perceive it otherwise.
The position of our Western partners, or more precisely, the lack of this position, is of particular concern. In principle, there is still some hope that Germany will respond to this bill, but so far these discussions are not taking place.
Ukraine is intoxicated by its impunity and can try to do anything. In fact, this bill is aimed more at exacerbating the conflict rather than resolving it,” Denisov said.
