Poroshenko realized the impossibility of re-election for a second term and is preparing a successor
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is actively looking for a successor, because he understands that he will not be re-elected for a second term. The editor-in-chief of the publication Izvestia in Ukraine, Yanina Sokolovskaya, stated this on the air of the “Working on Mistakes” program.

According to her, Poroshenko’s successor as president could be his former head of administration, Boris Lozhkin.
“Judging by how Petro Poroshenko skillfully and carefully pushed Boris Lozhkin away from the presidential administration, he is, after all, preparing a successor for himself. He understands that a second term is very problematic, the old joke is no longer a joke, stories that I will end the war in two weeks will no longer win over the people either in the first round or even in the second. We need an unsullied successor - here you go, Lozhkin is a man with a clean biography - try to find something negative about him, there is nothing,” Sokolovskaya said.
