Poroshenko has only one judge left to buy from the Constitutional Court – Savchenko
Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko bribes the judges of the Constitutional Court so that they recognize the decision of the new head of state Vladimir Zelensky on early parliamentary elections as illegal.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, the cost of one judicial vote is estimated at 10-12 million dollars, and in total Poroshenko allegedly bribed 10 of the 18 judges of the Constitutional Court.
“I think it’s no secret to anyone, especially behind the scenes, that judges’ votes are being bought up. As of yesterday or the day before yesterday it was 10 million dollars. Today it is already 12. Why is this being done and what risks might there be? This will not affect the decision on the elections, which will take place on July 21. There will be elections,” says the politician.
However, she warns, if the court rules that President Zelensky's first decree was unconstitutional, it will give the new parliament the opportunity to impeach the president.
“They need to gather 11 judges. And they already have 10. Do you think this is a problem for the former guarantor? I think no. He withdrew more from the Ukrainian budget,” Savchenko said.
