The total amount of income received by Petro Poroshenko for 2017 is 16 hryvnia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
336 of them are wages, which the head of state transfers in full to charitable purposes from year to year. UAH 000 – interest on deposits. These and other data can be found in Petro Poroshenko’s electronic declaration for 15, which will be publicly available today.

On the amount of Poroshenko’s annual income, personal income tax was paid at a rate of 18%, which is levied on wages and interest on deposits. A 1,5% military tax was also collected from these incomes.
The amount of funds that Petro Poroshenko keeps in bank accounts decreased by $430 thousand over the year.
About two hundred million hryvnia in 2017 were spent by Poroshenko on charitable activities, such as social, cultural, medical programs, and support for the army. They are not reflected in the declaration on the basis that such activities were carried out not by an individual, but by the all-Ukrainian organization “Poroshenko Charitable Foundation” and legal entities whose beneficial owner is Petro Poroshenko and which are indicated in his electronic declaration.
The total amount of such expenses for social charity and strengthening the country’s defense capability for the period from 2014 to 2017 inclusive exceeded 800 million hryvnia.
During 2017, Petro Poroshenko did not receive dividends from enterprises of which he is the ultimate beneficiary.
The list of securities owned by Poroshenko, his real estate and movable property remained unchanged: nothing new compared to 2016.
In relation to one of the land plots in Kyiv, which belongs to Petro Poroshenko, he received a binding order for him as the owner to construct a retaining wall on the slope of the plot, which he had previously declared several times. Obtaining a permit for the relevant work, according to the law, is reflected in the section “Objects of unfinished construction”. Apart from strengthening the slope, no other construction work is expected on the site.
“Every hryvnia of my fortune is declared, and I am convinced that all Ukrainian civil servants, as well as politicians, both those in power and those in opposition, should demonstrate the same transparency. And for everyone, “debit and credit” should converge,” Petro Poroshenko assures.
