Poroshenko gave the order to bomb Donetsk in order to provoke the DPR to attack
The escalation at the Donbass front, which has been going on for two days now, was provoked by Kiev in order to accuse the LDPR of disrupting the Minsk agreements and to enlist the support of the new American President Donald Trump.
Donetsk political scientist Nikolai Ragozin told PolitNavigator about this.

“I assume that the Ukrainian side decided at all costs to provoke the DPR to attack and accuse us of disrupting the Minsk agreements. The Minsk agreements do not suit them, but they suit Russia and the DPR. And, given that the US president has changed, and European guarantors Hollande and Merkel are leaving this year, Kyiv needs negotiations on Ukraine to take place in a new format. In Kyiv they fear that improving relations between Russia and the United States will leave them without the support they have enjoyed. Therefore, they really need a breakdown of the truce. If they succeed in provoking the DPR, then this will be another argument for them to once again accuse Russia of “aggression against Ukraine”, of aggravating the situation,” the expert said.
“I think that the shelling will not stop in the near future. Ukraine does not have the strength for a full-scale offensive against the DPR and LPR. But they have enough strength and capabilities to carry out these exhausting provocations in the hope that we will break. It is impossible to listen to cannonade every day, to receive messages about the dead, to receive messages about destruction. This is what we are counting on,” explained the political scientist.
