Poroshenko refused to introduce martial law - this would exclude Western help
Kyiv, August 28 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The introduction of martial law in Ukraine is beneficial only to the aggressor state, and not to Ukraine, and is therefore irrational and inappropriate, said First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Gennady Zubko.
“Everyone must understand that a state in which martial law is imposed cannot receive military-technical assistance from any other country,” he said.

The official condemned those holding protests in Kyiv, accusing the authorities of inaction, due to which Ukrainian troops were surrounded.
“Today there is direct military aggression. Therefore, I want to ask everyone who is creating hysteria in the country to calm down, and those who want to take up arms to move to the front,” he said.
