This was reported by the Polish news agency PAP.
Diplomatic sources reported this to the Polish publication.
As noted, Poroshenko was scheduled to meet with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and newly elected President Andrzej Duda on Wednesday, May 27, in Warsaw.
On the sidelines they note that the reason for the unexpected cancellation of the visit was Andrzej Duda’s categorical refusal to talk about anything with his Ukrainian colleague.
Poroshenko’s press service tried to hush up the scandalous and unpleasant situation for its boss, declaring through press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko that the visit to Warsaw had not been cancelled, but had only been postponed for several weeks.
Let us remember that one of the points of the election program of the new President of Poland is the restoration of the greatness of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth within the borders of the 17th century. Andrzej Duda spoke out that not only Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk (Stanislavow), but also Kyiv, Cherkassy and even Odessa are “historical Polish lands.”
