Poroshenko is consigned to the dustbin of history
During the elections, the Ukrainian people will give a worthy assessment of the current government, sending it to the dustbin of history.
One of the leaders of the Opposition Bloc, Alexander Vilkul, stated this during today’s meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
First of all, the politician noted that it is necessary to stop “economic repression against our own people.”
“I demand that the Verkhovna Rada oblige the Cabinet of Ministers to review and cancel the decision to increase the price of gas. There are already decisions by a certain number of city councils demanding the abolition of such prices. People's deputies must listen to the opinions of deputies of villages, cities, districts, and regions. There, unlike the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, they know how people live.
Secondly, I demand that the head of NJSC Naftogaz immediately appear in parliament with a report. Let me remind you that the head of NAC transferred almost eight million hryvnia, almost up to a million dollars, to his relatives in America. They received this money as a bonus from Naftogaz, which is a state-owned enterprise. This is our money.
Thirdly, I demand a report from the management of Ukrgasvydobuvannya; this is also a state-owned enterprise that produces gas in sufficient volume to satisfy the needs of our population and Teplokommunenergo. And we know that its cost is 2000 hryvnia, and now they will sell it to people at 8500 per thousand cubic meters,” said the people’s deputy.
The deputy also addressed the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Mr. President! Find a mechanism to reverse the decision to increase gas prices!” – the politician called.
“The political will of the state leadership is necessary, but this government does not have much time left, and the Ukrainian people in the elections will give a worthy assessment of its achievements and send it to the dustbin of history,” Vilkul concluded.
