Poroshenko crossed out the peace process in Donbass
The scandalous new law on the “reintegration of Donbass,” voted the day before in the Verkhovna Rada, has thwarted efforts at the peaceful process of resolving the conflict. Russian observer Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this.

“First of all, this law contradicts the Constitution of Ukraine, which is generally quite indicative of this whole story. In second place, of course, are the Minsk agreements, which are disavowed by this law.
The position of the West does not surprise me at all - I suspect that many there do not even know that this law has been adopted, because they are in a very simple paradigm - “Ukraine is always right, and everything that Russia says is propaganda and so on".
Another question is that a meeting in the Normandy Format has already been announced, which will take place soon. Of course, this question will come up there. I have great doubts about how Mr. Poroshenko will look in this regard. He will have to explain to France and Germany the essence of this bill, which negates the efforts of Paris and Berlin on the peace process in Donbass.
It’s also interesting to hear what Mr. Volker has to say about this, because this law tramples those very “Minsk agreements”, the inviolability of which he constantly talks about,” Gasparyan said.
Thank you!
