“I want to immediately remove any insinuations that the drop-in visit is just to take a photo. We didn’t need this... His key position was not to give advice, but he clearly asked: “Peter, how can I help you?” This is the position of a real partner, a real friend of Ukraine... it was very friendly, very partner-like, very reliable and I felt very comfortable,” Poroshenko assures.
“This is not just the first meeting, an acquaintance between the leader of the United States of America and your humble servant, but we had a very important task to exchange views and arm ourselves with arguments on the eve of those multilateral and bilateral meetings that will be held in Hamburg in the GXNUMX format... They were not just provided arguments, and materials, evidence - photographs, maps, documents, chevrons and many other things that clearly prove the Russian presence in Donbass,” added the Ukrainian president.
