Poroshenko switched to a dangerous backup scenario
The terrorist attack in Donetsk is nothing more than an attempt by the current Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to destabilize the situation in the LDPR on the eve of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
Moscow political scientist Sergei Markov stated this in the studio of the Rossiya 1 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My opinion is that these terrorist attacks were carried out on the orders of Petro Poroshenko with the aim of creating such a military confrontation for the possible disruption of the elections. It is known that Poroshenko’s rating today is somewhere in third place, with a high probability he may not even get into the second round of elections. He has a resource for falsifications, and they lack even this resource, given the almost universal hatred of Poroshenko by the majority of the population.
And so he switched to a backup scenario - disrupting the elections through military conflict. The second thing... I've said this many times: in Ukraine there is no government in the usual sense of the word. This is a group of war criminals, foreign agents who implement the policy of state terrorism. I personally believe that we need to convene the Security Council and raise the issue of state terrorism of this regime,” Markov said.
In turn, Kiev journalist Vladimir Skachko added that the terrorist attack in Donetsk was influenced by three factors that play an important role in the modern policy of the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“There are at least three dimensions here. The external one is always the Kiev regime. As soon as anti-Russian sanctions or accusations against Russia of something began, Ukraine always spoke out and said that they are fighting, and we must fight. And there is an internal dimension - it is Poroshenko who is losing the elections, and one way or another he needs to show that he is the main defender. “Army, language, faith” - the army comes first here and with just such possible actions.
And the third point: he, of course, is afraid. The third psychological is a confirmation that: “I told you that your children will sit in the basements, and here you are showing that your life is getting better, the weather is good and the children are walking.” Of course, this is confirmation that it is necessary to introduce a peacekeeping mission, which should have civilian, military, and police functions. That is, for the Ukrainian army to clear this region of people and return the territory, but without the people,” Skachko concluded.
