Petro Poroshenko announced this during the conference, according to his official website.

“I think that the local authorities need to find funds for the construction of checkpoints in order to create normal conditions, where to rest, where, excuse me, to go to the toilet, where to wait, where to drink a cup of coffee, so that normal European conditions can be created for people, I will demand it. We need coordination of efforts to achieve the appropriate result,” Poroshenko said, calling for the main sections of the state border to be equipped with cargo scanners by the end of the year.
