Poroshenko ran to complain to the Americans about Russia’s recognition of the passports of the Donbass republics

According to the President of Ukraine, decree of Vladimir Putin the recognition in the Russian Federation of passports of residents of the DPR and LPR allegedly indicates a violation of the Minsk agreements.

“For me, this is further evidence of Russian occupation and a violation of international law. It is very symbolic and cynical that this happened during the Munich Security Conference,” Poroshenko said during a conversation with media representatives in Munich, as quoted by the website of the President of Ukraine.

It is also noted that Poroshenko informed US Vice President Mike Pence about this decision of the Russian President.

In turn, experts believe that Putin’s decree is start of legitimation of the Donbass republics.
