Petro Poroshenko stated this after the presentation of the propaganda film “Crimea. Resistance,” reports the press service of the Ukrainian president.
“It is very important that this film is watched not only in Ukraine, but all over the world in order... This will be a firm reminder that this is not just a matter for Ukraine, but for the whole world. ...now we need films about Ukrainian heroes who defend our country in the east from Russian aggression,” Poroshenko said.
He added that Ukrainians must respect each of their heroes.
“We must respect each of our heroes... Each of the thousands and thousands of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians. Every woman who sings the Ukrainian anthem while standing at the “Crimea is Ukraine!” march. Low bow to you and sincere gratitude,” he added.
Let us remind you that the propaganda film “Crimea. Resistance” was created by journalists of the Radio Liberty-funded project “Crimea.Realities” for the second anniversary of Ukraine’s loss of Crimea and talks about the alleged “numerous facts of resistance of Crimeans to the military takeover of the peninsula in the spring of 2014.”
