Poroshenko’s press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“With the permission of Roman’s wife, the President of Ukraine gave President Macron a painting painted by Roman in 2001,” Tsegolko wrote.
According to Poroshenko, Sushchenko, who worked in France for many years, should be “immediately released from Russian prison.”
Let us remind you that journalist Roman Sushchenko was detained in Moscow on September 30 last year. Russian special services claim that Sushchenko is a colonel, a career employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and detained him during an espionage action. On June 16, Roman Sushchenko was assigned a psychological and psychiatric examination. In Ukraine, attempts are being made to “blind” Sushchenko into the image of a “martyr” according to the patterns worked out on Nadezhda Savchenko.
