Kyiv, October 01 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed law enforcement agencies to find those responsible for the conflict with Verkhovna Rada deputy Nestor Shufrych in Odessa.

“President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed law enforcement agencies, in particular the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine to thoroughly understand the situation, who provoked the conflict in Odessa on September 30, as a result of which the people’s deputy of Ukraine suffered,” the press service of the head of state reported.
The head of state also appealed to politicians “not to participate in scenarios that work to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.”
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday in Odessa, Nestor Shufrich was beaten by activists near the regional state administration building. Doctors diagnosed him with a concussion and traumatic brain injury. Police are investigating the incident as hooliganism.
