Petro Poroshenko signed the law “On the ratification of the financial agreement (project “Completion of the construction of the metro in Dnepropetrovsk”) between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank” No. 1665-VII, the official website of the head of state reports.
The financial agreement provides for raising a loan in the amount of 152 million euros for the construction of the metro in Dnepropetrovsk.
The project “Completing the construction of the metro in Dnepropetrovsk”, developed jointly with the EIB, involves expanding the metro by four kilometers along Karl Marx Avenue.
Construction will be completed from the Kommunarskaya station to the Muzeynaya station with an electric depot. It is planned to build three new stations - “Teatralnaya”, “Tsentralnaya” and “Museinaya”. The project involves connecting the existing metro line to the city center.
