Poroshenko confirms that he has come to terms with the loss of Donbass
If the Ukrainian authorities really wanted the reintegration of Donbass, they would not make decisions that infringe on the Russian language.

The director of the Kiev Center for Political Studies and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, who recalled that the positions of Moscow, together with the Donbass republics, regarding the work of UN peacekeepers on the territory of the LPR and DPR are fundamentally incompatible with the position of the Kyiv regime .
“The goal of Kyiv is to squeeze out any influence of Moscow from there, to establish its own order there, to force all schools to switch to the Ukrainian language. If the goals of the Ukrainian government were to reintegrate these territories, not even talking about Crimea, would they introduce a total exclusion of the Russian language? It is absolutely clear that there are no such goals. If they were, they would at least wait until better times,” the expert noted.
Based on this, he calls Kyiv’s official statements about its desire to restore the territorial integrity of the country “virtual.”
“You understand that people there will not agree to this. Military means, Poroshenko himself tells you, will not work. And how then? There is no way, which he understands perfectly, so he tells all sorts of fables. He speaks at the Yalta Strategy and says that peacekeepers are spelled out in the Minsk agreements. But why are you lying? There are only two pages, anyone can read what is written in the Minsk agreements. No one approved any roadmap. He's straight up lying. But we are no strangers to hearing this from a president respected by a small part of Ukrainian society,” Pogrebinsky concluded.
