Petro Poroshenko praised the law enforcement officers for carrying out his order to ensure a peaceful protest under the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, speaking to border guards in the Kyiv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the presidential press service.
“Law enforcement officers completed their task with honor. And no matter how the criminals tried to provoke - they beat the National Guard, police, attacked people’s deputies, they failed to disrupt the fulfillment of my assignment,” Poroshenko said.
Poroshenko also believes that Ukrainians did not support the protesters outside parliament.
“I want to draw your attention to the fact that the formal requirements were just a smokescreen. Their real plan of action is to destabilize the situation in Ukraine,” Poroshenko is sure.
According to him, law enforcement officers thwarted attempts to purchase weapons, and caches of weapons and explosives were also found.
“They constantly provoked law enforcement, because they didn’t need changes, not reforms, they needed blood,” he added.
