“Today, at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, the President of Ukraine categorically prohibited cooperation with Russia in the military sphere,” Yarema said. He added that any cooperation with the Russian Federation in the military-industrial complex has practically ceased since that day.
Yarema recalled that previously military cooperation was prohibited only in terms of the production and supply of weapons to the Russian Federation: “If you remember, there was previously a decree of the acting. President of Ukraine that we are stopping cooperation in the military sphere in terms of the manufacture and supply of weapons and weapons to the Russian Federation, but were only allowed to cooperate in terms of the manufacture of dual-use products, for example, such as engines for helicopters, which can also be used in the military , and for civilian purposes.”
At the end of May, it became known that back in March, the Ukrainian authorities introduced an embargo on the supply of all military products to Russian territory. The ban even affected products that had already been paid for.
