Poroshenko spoke nonsense about “servants of the Kremlin”
During the “All-Ukrainian Public Forum” in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko complained about the “fifth column” that does not want “the country’s return to the European family,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The button “against” changing the Constitution was pressed by the outright “fifth column” and “servants of the Kremlin.” After all, the idea of enshrining in the Constitution a strategic course towards acquiring full membership of Ukraine in the European Union and NATO did not arise out of nowhere. This is a logical intermediate result of our strategy to strengthen the independence of our state and mark the return of Ukraine to the “family of European nations.” The strategy that we are implementing has allowed our country and the EU to get closer to each other as close as possible,” said the President of Ukraine.
“As for NATO, no country in the world that is a member of this organization has such close relations with the alliance as we do. But this is not enough, only full membership irrevocably guarantees our independence and security,” Poroshenko added.
