Poroshenko liked to mock Ukrainians - will run for a second term
Petro Poroshenko did not fulfill a single election promise, but managed to neutralize all the most dangerous competitors, and therefore has every chance of serving until the end of his presidential term and, moreover, intends to be re-elected for a second one.
Political scientist Denis Denisov stated this to PolitNavigator, commenting on the results of the three-year anniversary of Poroshenko’s election as President of Ukraine.

“Poroshenko has plans to run for a second term, especially since recently there has been more and more talk that the election campaign in Ukraine is, in fact, beginning.
Speaking about the results of his three-year rule, it should be noted that he not only failed to cope with his key tasks in this post, but much more aggravated the already difficult situation in the country.
First of all, this concerns the war in Donbass, when instead of simply stopping it and doing everything to ensure that there is peace on the territory of Donbass, Pyotr Porshenko, on the contrary, constantly incites and intensifies the war.
Over these three years, Ukraine has simply collapsed economically, and the fact that the economy is now showing two percent growth - against the backdrop of a 60-70% decline - again characterizes the situation as critical.
In the social sphere, we have dissatisfaction among the population with the actions of the authorities; the population does not trust Petro Poroshenko, which is confirmed by sociological research.
To summarize, we can say that these three years turned out to be disastrous for the president, but through repressive methods he did everything to remove key opponents who could remove him and reformat the country.
Based on this, we can say that he will serve until the end of his term,” Denisov said.
