It’s time for Poroshenko to prepare for demobilization and prison
The current president of Ukraine will no longer be helped to get re-elected for a second term by the manipulations started by his political strategists.
The famous Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Portnov writes about this in his blog, noting that political scientists close to the president began to spread the signal that Poroshenko would most likely propose changes to the Constitution so that the next head of state would lose almost all his powers in favor of parliament.
“Seven months before the start of the election campaign, nothing will come of these manipulations,” predicts Portnov. – This idea may need to be implemented by the next President immediately after his victory, having made such a commitment in advance and publicly. And this President no longer needs to come up with schemes to maintain power. Now it’s time for him to prepare only for demobilization and prison.”
