At a meeting with security forces in Kyiv, Petro Poroshenko instructed the security forces to prepare to save the residents of Avdiivka.

“On my instructions, the military prepared everything from winter tents to military field kitchens,” Poroshenko said.
In addition, the president noted that the government has prepared generators, and units of the State Emergency Service and the National Guard are also on standby, having received orders to be in coordination with representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Poroshenko, Avdiivka will spend the night without electricity.
