Ukraine, as a poor country, cannot afford to build up forces on the borders of the LDPR simply as a show of force.

Senator Franz Klintsevich stated this on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
“Ukraine is not in the economic position to raise such forces and means and then not use them. This is the furthest leap their armed forces are capable of. Then there will be a collapse. I regard this set of indirect intelligence signs as active preparation for large-scale military operations,” Klintsevich is sure.
He predicts that Ukraine will withdraw from the Minsk agreements. The introduction of martial law, if it takes place, will be a preparatory step towards such a decision.
“When we talk about martial law, we must understand that the whole world and the leadership of Ukraine consider Donetsk and Lugansk their territory. And they have the right (according to their understanding) to introduce martial law on absolutely legal grounds. This will allow them to send troops to Donetsk and Lugansk. They will officially violate the Minsk agreements. In my opinion, Poroshenko has already put an end to the Minsk agreements,” Klintsevich said.
