“We have no obligation to allow Russian military personnel into Transnistria, and we will not do this. We have no obligation to support or facilitate the Russian presence in Transnistria. But Ukraine will do everything possible to restore the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova and to ensure a normal standard of living for everyone who lives there. The main difference between Transnistria and the situation in Donbass is that it does not have a common border with Russia. It will be easier to restore order there,” Poroshenko said.

His words caused an immediate reaction on social networks. Thus, viewers of the live broadcast, commenting on the statements of the Ukrainian president, remind that Poroshenko forgot about an important detail - the vast majority of residents of Transnistria have Russian passports, just like, for example, residents of South Ossetia.
