Poroshenko was warned: It’s better not to spoil
If, as a result of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, the victory of Petro Poroshenko, who has lost his popularity, is announced, protests will begin in Kyiv.
Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Volya spoke about this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We see this big protest against Poroshenko. All are protest candidates, there is not a single one who is friendly, of those who received more or less significant results.
There is no one loyal to the president. All critics.
If Poroshenko remains at the end of the second round, many will perceive this - at least, this is how they interpret it - as that he deceived everyone. This is unfair. We don't agree with this.
With a large number of protest-minded voters, as the election results showed, if you add up Tymoshenko, Gritsenko, Koshulinsky... society voted against Petro Poroshenko. And this aspect will be used for some kind of protests,” Volya said.
