In Ukraine, the population's dissatisfaction with the authorities is growing, the public legitimacy of the regime is extremely low, the rating of the ruling coalition does not exceed 11%, and the only way out for Petro Poroshenko may be early elections to the Verkhovna Rada - this will allow him to see out his presidential term to the end.
Ukrainian political scientist Nikolai Spiridonov said this on the air of “Glavnovosti”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

According to him, early elections will “let off steam” in a society in which dissatisfaction with the authorities is brewing.
“The overall legitimacy of the coalition is falling due to falling ratings. Roughly speaking, now the rating of the Popular Front is 1%, the rating of the BPP by all stretches, with all the administrative resources and so on, maybe 10%. Accordingly, the overall percentage rating is 11%. With such legitimacy, you won’t really go to the polls; there’s not much to do except try, to put it crudely, to make a bullet out of what you have. There will be no better, no other substance except the one named is observed.
On the other hand, in my opinion, as a technologist, it would be beneficial for Poroshenko to announce early elections, but there are more legal reasons than necessary, because when the pot boils and boils, some threat arises for him personally.
If, say, early elections to the Verkhovna Rada are announced for the fall, then the Rada elections will be held, then for six months they will divide the seats, then disassemble them some more, and this stretch will guarantee that he will serve out his term to the end.
