Poroshenko will have to answer in court for libel
The television and radio company “Studio 1 + 1” filed a claim with the Pechersky District Court of Kiev against President Petro Poroshenko and the Publishing House “Media-DK” (publication “Novoye Vremya”) with a demand to refute false information and compensate for moral damages, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In particular, in its lawsuit, the media group asks the court to recognize as unreliable and in violation of business reputation a number of information messages that Poroshenko distributed on his Facebook page, and also voiced “at a meeting of citizens,” and the Media-DK Publishing House distributed on the Novoe website time".
“1+1” demands that these statements be refuted within 7 days from the date the court decision enters into legal force, and also that Poroshenko recover compensation for moral damage in the amount of 1 million hryvnia.
