Poroshenko came up with a soulless scheme for his re-election
For the sake of his re-election for a second term, the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is ready to take the most radical measures.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To those who understand the situation in Ukraine, it seems absolutely obvious that this is not an election, but the appointment of a certain protege of those circles that now govern the country. The Americans are absolutely indifferent whether it is Poroshenko or someone else, but we are not indifferent. To those Ukrainian politicians who were forced to go abroad and who are there.
I personally know all the politicians who are running for elections. Compared to others, the current president is an absolute evil, so I will support anyone but him. Poroshenko has no legal chance to remain president. The inflated level of support is about 5%, but these are just heads of administrations, ministers, departments, committees and family members - this is those 5%,” said the ex-prime minister.
“How can he get elected? He came up with the following triad: “Army, language and faith.” An army is for war, language is a linguistic split, and gunpowder workers in matters of faith put him on the same level as Yaroslav the Wise and other famous personalities of Rus', although at that time Ukraine did not exist as such. But for what? Because two churches supposedly united and Ukraine finally got its own. Is this electoral triad capable of depriving the souls of people who have been living in ruin for 5 years? Of course she’s not capable,” Azarov added.
