Poroshenko ordered to round up civil servants and pretend to be jubilant demonstrators
The administration of Petro Poroshenko sent orders to regional organizations demanding that they organize demonstrations on the occasion of Europe Day, which will be celebrated on May 14. This was reported by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Oleynik.

The celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine on May 14 will result in another show off by the authorities and waste of budget money.
The Poroshenko administration sent instructions to all regional and district administrations to hang the flags of Ukraine and the European Union in every front window of administrative buildings. Thus, millions of hryvnias from meager local budgets, which could have been spent on healthcare, education, and helping the poor, will go to support Chinese textile workers.
In addition, the minimum number of rallies in support of the European choice in Ukraine has been established (1 thousand people) and recommendations have been given regarding participants in rallies (representatives of local elites must be present - teachers, scientists, doctors, athletes, cultural figures, public opinion leaders, volunteers ) and their placement is regulated with an emphasis on youth. That is, forced civil servants will be driven by purely “European methods” to express joy about Poroshenko’s European course and his power.
For some reason, Poroshenko does not care at all that Ukraine has at least a level of social protection, European salaries and pensions close to the European one. But he is making a show of Ukraine’s “Europeanness” in the worst “Soviet” traditions,” says Oleynik.
