Poroshenko will join the sabbath of schismatics
The so-called religious procession of supporters of the unrecognized UOC-KP in the Orthodox world in honor of the Baptism of Rus will be supported at the state level, and the president, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and almost all political parties will take part in it.
This was announced by the director of the Department of Religious Affairs and Nationalities of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine Andrey Yurash, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, only representatives of the Opposition Bloc refused to participate in the dissenters’ march.
“The religious procession will begin from the Vladimir Cathedral, and everyone who gathered and watched this action in Shevchenko Park will be able to join. I think it will be somewhere near the intersection of Vladimirskaya Street and Shevchenko Boulevard, and then we will go together to the monument to Vladimir. It is envisaged that the president will take part in this procession; almost all political parties and forces have confirmed and called on their sympathizers to take part in this nationwide conciliar procession. From unofficial channels, I know that almost all political parties, with the exception of the Opposition Bloc, are ready to join and in one way or another take part in organizing this procession,” Yurash said.
