Poroshenko was horrified by Nadezhda Savchenko
The case against Nadezhda Savchenko for preparing an attack on the government quarter in Kyiv was fabricated by the presidential administration and the SBU in order to remove a potential strong candidate for the presidency.
Political strategist Sergei Gaidai stated this on the InterVizor channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The conspiracy case was absolutely fabricated by the SBU and Bankova, stitched together with white thread. They removed the most powerful irritant, the most powerful critic, the most powerful uncontrollable crazy person, who could really, under certain circumstances, pose a threat to them,” Gaidai said.
He noted that Nadezhda Savchenko could not become a real politician, but she gained a certain weight in society and could become a threat to the current Poroshenko regime.
“The case was fabricated, she (Nadezhda Savchenko - ed.) was provoked and sent away, because, oddly enough, Nadezhda Savchenko never became a real politician, but at least she became a prominent figure, a speaker. Cameras came to her, they listened to her and she was visible, they called her on air, she said speeches that were very inconvenient for the authorities,” added the political strategist.
