Ukrainian paratroopers have refused to swim in fountains and are celebrating Airborne Forces Day at the graves of their colleagues killed in the Donbass. President Petro Poroshenko stated this while speaking in Zhitomir.

The guarantor of the Ukrainian Constitution made his speech with a hint of Russian paratroopers. “Our holiday is different in that Ukrainian paratroopers do not bathe in fountains, but defend their homeland... This day at the same time is also a day of remembrance. Many of them will be at the graves of their fallen military brothers-in-arms, giving them honor and respect,” Poroshenko said.
