Kyiv, September 10 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – NATO countries refused to send their troops to Ukraine for military confrontation with Russia.

President Petro Poroshenko announced this at a government meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.

“I have no doubt that the whole world today has demonstrated a desire to help us protect ourselves. But there is reality, friends. No one will fight for Ukraine on our territory. This is our cross,” he said.

At the same time, Poroshenko added that Ukraine today has the highest level of cooperation with NATO as for a country that does not have membership in the alliance.
