Kyiv, October 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko predicts difficult negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which are scheduled for next week in Milan.

“In 6 days in Milan I will have a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Together with the leaders of European countries: the Chancellor of Germany, the Prime Minister of Italy, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, the leaders of the European Union. You know, I don't expect these to be easy negotiations. I am no stranger to this; I have extensive experience in conducting complex diplomatic negotiations. But I’m an optimist,” Poroshenko said, speaking to activists in the Kharkiv region on Saturday.
He also, once again, stated that, in the end, all points of his peace plan to resolve the situation in Donbass will be fulfilled.
As PolitNavigator reported, Poroshenko previously met with Vladimir Putin in Minsk in August.
