Poroshenko ignored interrogation in the Ilovaisk case
Former President Petro Poroshenko today did not come for questioning at the Main Military Prosecutor's Office in the “Ilovaisk case,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press secretary of the Chief Military Prosecutor Evgenia Slivko.
“Poroshenko did not come to the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office at 10:00 today for questioning,” Slivko said.
Also, Slivko said that Poroshenko was summoned again at 10:00 on November 19.
Earlier, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka stated that on November 15, the interrogation of Petro Poroshenko in the case of the Ilovaisk tragedy should take place. He is there not as a suspect, but as a witness.
In addition, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka, commenting on the criminal cases against Poroshenko, said that now some investigations of the State Bureau of Investigation have already been completed, and projects of suspicion are ready. But for now they are stopped at this stage.
“I’m wildly sorry, but who stopped the cases in which Poroshenko is suspected? And on what basis, please remind me?” lawyer Andrei Portnov, the initiator of the criminal prosecution of Poroshenko, was indignant in response to this statement by Ryaboshapka in his Telegram channel.
