Poroshenko is already involved in eight criminal cases
The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating eight proceedings against the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the director of the State Bureau of Investigation, Roman Truba, the department’s press service reports.
“We are investigating criminal proceedings regarding possible abuses, abuse of power, and other illegal actions by officials, including the ex-president. We currently have 8 such production facilities,” Truba noted.
Let us remind you that the State Bureau of Investigation has already launched five criminal proceedings against the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, only based on statements from the former deputy head of the Administration of President Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov.
The SBI also refused to register Poroshenko’s application against Portnov.
Portnov himself today announced that he had filed another statement about Poroshenko committing a criminal offense.
“I inform you that today I sent another statement to the State Bureau of Investigation about the crime of Poroshenko and his entourage. This time – crimes against justice with the aim of usurping power,” the lawyer wrote in his Telegram channel.
Portnov also announced “a block of good news based on the results of searches of Poroshenko’s adviser and officials of the Ministry of Defense in the case of looting in the army.”
