Poroshenko traded Ilovaisk for women's magazines
During the most fierce battles near Ilovaisk, Debaltsevo, Donetsk airport, where the Ukrainian army suffered colossal losses, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko published recipes for scrambled eggs, reports about his wife’s trips as a “philanthropist” and other information in his blog under the pseudonym Peter Lions. associated with the front.
Investigative journalist Alexander Dubinsky writes about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The journalist notes that Poroshenko has two accounts on the social network Facebook - on one he flaunts himself in military uniform surrounded by soldiers, and on the other he publishes what really interests him.
“If you scroll through the president’s official account on the FB social network, you can find a huge number of his photos in military uniform. Moreover, Petro Alekseevich is especially prone to mise-en-scenes with flags: if a crowd of hard workers kissed Yanukovych’s hands, then Poroshenko’s soldiers kiss the flag. Which in both cases is a wonderful allegory: Yanukovych stole billions from the working class, and Poroshenko profited from the army,” writes Dubinsky.
“On his personal Facebook page, which Poroshenko maintains under the pseudonym Peter Lions, he rarely mentions the army. Basically, only by reposting articles about how he successfully spoke at the UN or at some reception, and said something offensive about Putin... And during the most difficult days of the war in the East of his country, President Poroshenko publishes recipes for pies on his page, songs, posts of flattery, photos of his wife and tests from women’s magazines,” writes Dubinsky, citing screenshots from Poroshenko’s page.
