“Moreover, the opposition was extremely heterogeneous, in some cases ideologically incompatible with each other,” the publication notes. – In the western regions, radical nationalists confidently spoke out, in the eastern regions - the “Opposition Bloc” and other forces, one way or another connected with the overthrown Party of Regions. In the central regions, and throughout the country as a whole, parliamentary parties have strengthened their positions; although formally they are part of the ruling coalition, they play secondary roles in it and therefore may be interested in the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and early elections.
