Poroshenko will promise to deploy US missiles for re-election
The confrontation between the United States and Russia has reached the level of hints at a nuclear conflict, and the nationalists who have seized power in Kiev enthusiastically continue to voice the thesis about Ukraine being an “outpost” of the Western world, without realizing the consequences.
Kiev political scientist Andrei Mishin said this on the YouTube channel “UkrLife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Ukraine is called an outpost. This is what both the president and Parubiy call it, even Klimkin says that Ukraine is an outpost of the Western world against Russian aggression.
What is an outpost among engineering structures? It's something small and weak that gets torn down.
Now we are talking about a nuclear citadel, which Ukraine simply cannot become. No one will dig new bunkers and bomb shelters now. We have had nightclubs or warehouses of large huckster businessmen there for a long time. We are simply not ready for the situation for which we were ready 30 years ago,” Mishin said.
He noted that the outcome of the presidential elections in Ukraine directly depends on Washington, which uses Petro Poroshenko in its military-political interests.
“It is clear that Trump’s decision will affect the outcome of our presidential election in any way. If immediately after the elections we have to deploy Pershings here, then Pyotr Alekseevich is the ideal commander-in-chief, especially since he will agree to everything.
If Yulia Vladimirovna comes, then she can refuse these bases, become the main fighter for peace and will shout that the money will be used to lower the gas supply, and not to the arms race. It is less predictable,” explained Andrei Mishin.
