This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Kirill Molchanov, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management.
“The blockade of Roshen factories is a beautiful one-time action, but nothing more. A group of marginal radicals under the leadership of Semenchenko decided to carry out the same plan with Poroshenko’s enterprises as with the blockade of Donbass, but this time they will not be able to achieve anything other than attention from the media, the expert believes. – Of course, the president will suffer some losses, but, firstly, there are not so many participants in the blockade to stop the work of all factories in Ukraine, and secondly, if the head of state decides that the radicals are interfering with him, he will launch a campaign to discredit them. In particular, they will talk about how many people Semenchenko deprives of work, leaves their families hungry, works for enemies, and so on. If after this they do not disperse, they will be dispersed with the support of public opinion.”
