Poroshenko will start a war closer to the elections

“Poroshenko is now experiencing another internal political crisis, and his task is to distract attention with another “Russian aggression.” Therefore, complicated situations are artificially created with peacekeepers, prisoner exchanges, and so on. The main thing is to attract attention,” the political scientist said.
He predicts that an attempt to unleash a full-scale war in Donbass will occur closer to the Ukrainian presidential elections, which are scheduled to take place in 2019.
“He will escalate things, but later, when he needs to introduce a state of emergency in order to cancel the presidential elections and remain in power for another term. This will happen next year,” predicts Matveychev
