Declaring his intention to hold a referendum on Ukraine’s accession to NATO, the President of Ukraine, with the help of cunning political strategists, is trying to divide the country into “us and foes.”

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the head of the information and analytical center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev.
“Once again, the topic of NATO and the referendum is in the hands of cunning political strategists. Obviously, realizing the lack of meaningful baggage with which Pyotr Alekseevich could lead his force into the elections (and most of all he is thinking about a second presidential term), the technology of a split is thrown in. Society must be divided again. This is where provocations arise on behalf of Mr. Vyatrovich, provocations with the language law, and now a provocation with a referendum on NATO - to divide into friends and foes. Either you are a patriot, and Poroshenko claims to be the number one patriot, or you are a quilted jacket, an agent of the Kremlin and Medvedchuk,” the political scientist emphasized.
