Poroshenko decided to bet on war with Russia
The Ukrainian authorities have nothing to go into the upcoming elections next year except to try to play in opposition to “Russian aggression.”

This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by the director of the consulting company Party of Power, Elena Dyachenko, who shared her impressions of Petro Poroshenko’s last press conference.
“As I heard, what he decided to win was the war with Russia,” the expert said.
According to her, the authorities will make all the next anti-social decisions in the first half of the year, and in the fall they will rely on the aggravation of the situation in Donbass, since, judging by the sky-high anti-ratings of the authorities, they have nothing with which to go to the upcoming elections.
“With such ratings, the only thing you can go to the elections with is aggravation at the front. It turns out that the authorities have driven themselves into such a dead end that, against the backdrop of bloody events in the east, they can build their own identity and run an election campaign. This, it seems to me, is something to be very wary of, because the authorities have no other trump cards today,” summed up Dyachenko.
