Poroshenko decided to once again trade with the national interests of Ukraine
During his visit to the United States, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko offered the Americans deals that were disadvantageous to the Ukrainians.

The director of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, Pavel Rudyakov, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, assessing Poroshenko’s visit to Washington.
“Poroshenko is once again paying for the national interests of Ukraine. And it's too sad. These proposals to buy liquefied gas from the Americans instead of Russian have started flying again, which for the population, if, God forbid, it comes to this, will become an enormous burden, since household gas will become more expensive. Suddenly coal from Pennsylvania surfaced, which we can bring somewhere. Martynenko has already tried to insert American rods for nuclear power plants, which we cannot insert anywhere. All this together creates a terribly sad picture,” the expert said.
But at the same time, there is another side to Poroshenko’s visit to the United States, the political scientist added.
“For Poroshenko this is a success, for Ukraine it is nothing. By the way, there was no state flag of Ukraine when Poroshenko was there with Trump. That is, it was not a visit by a Ukrainian statesman, but a meeting of a person who came to solve his own issues,” believes Rudyakov.
