Kyiv, February 19 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine opposes Russia’s entry into the peacekeeping contingent, which Kyiv the day before proposed to the UN to introduce into the conflict zone in Donbass.
“Russia, as an aggressor country, cannot and will not take part in the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine,” said President Petro Poroshenko.

Earlier, DPR Foreign Minister Alexander Kofman said that Donetsk would agree to the deployment of peacekeepers only in the case of a Russian contingent.
“The DPR would agree to introduce peacekeeping forces exclusively as part of their troops of the Russian Federation. This is the only party we trust,” Kofman said.
