As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, he said this at a press conference, answering a question from the Russian Channel One about the May 2 tragedy.

“About the events of May 2 in Odessa. Three were brought to justice. One of the organizers, deputy chief of police of Odessa Fuchedzhi, is on the run. According to our intelligence services, he is in Transnistria and periodically visits Russia. I really ask for your help - give him to us. Contact us about this, without it it will be very difficult. Use your influence and return the main suspect,” Poroshenko addressed a representative of the Russian Channel One.

As PolitNavigator reported, Fuchedzhi worked as the deputy chief of police of the Odessa region for public safety and was personally in the center of Odessa on May 2, during violent clashes that led to numerous casualties. As a result of the attack on supporters of federalization who had taken refuge in the House of Trade Unions, according to official data, 48 people were killed. The police put Fuchedzhi on the wanted list, but after May 6 he left the country.
