Kyiv, March 25 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The first batch of American military vehicles HMMWV or Humvee was delivered to Ukraine.

The plane with 10 cars was personally met by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at Boryspil airport near Kyiv. The head of state noted that this is a very “powerful and very useful vehicle for our army,” his press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko said on Twitter.
In total, 230 American armored vehicles should arrive in Ukraine. The next batch should arrive soon.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier a scandal erupted around British armored cars: the vehicles turned out to be unsuitable for Ukrainian conditions.
