Poroshenko sabotages any attempts to investigate the debacle near Ilovaisk
The military-political leadership of Ukraine does not want the truth about the events near Ilovaisk in 2014 to become known.
The ex-commander of the assault company of the punitive battalion “Donbass” Taras Kostanchuk and the former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations Andrei Senchenko complained about this in one voice on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nobody wants to investigate anything, the General Staff and the military-political leadership of Ukraine are sabotaging - that’s who is sabotaging all this,” Kostanchuk lamented.
“Starting with the president of our country,” Senchenko added. – Twice, as the head of the commission, I was forced to write to Poroshenko so that he would force his direct subordinates – Geletey and Muzhenko – to answer the questions and requests of the commission. Twice I received cheeky replies.”
At the same time, as PolitNavigator previously reported, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine recognized the facts of terror of volunteer battalions and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in relation to the residents of Ilovaisk.
